The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Endorses York Fire & Casualty's Snowmobile Insurance Program

MISSISSAUGA, June 11, 2009 - York Fire & Casualty Insurance Company (York) is proud to announce its full-scale entry into the Ontario snowmobile insurance market. York and the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) have entered into a five-year agreement, beginning September 1st, 2009, whereby York will provide the OFSC membership a snowmobile insurance program specifically designed to meet their needs. The new Power Sports Insurance Solutions™ program includes York's full suite of personal lines and commercial lines insurance products. In exchange, the OFSC will exclusively endorse York's Power Sports Insurance Solutions™ program to its members. See www.york-fire.com.

"We are excited to have the OFSC's endorsement of York's Power Sports Insurance Solutions™ program and are confident that this agreement will be of mutual benefit for the OFSC and its members, and York and its broker partners", said President & COO of York, Martin Delage. "We look forward to seeing the success of this program, which will be achieved by building a close and co-operative relationship between York and the OFSC in the years to come." "This program is a WIN – WIN – WIN for everyone involved, and is also great news for the snowmobile industry. The OFSC membership will have access to York's high quality insurance protection at competitive prices," declared Paul Shaughnessy, OFSC executive director. "At the same time, York will enjoy the exclusive endorsement of the OFSC to promote its Power Sports Insurance Solutions™ program to our members through York's broker partners."

York is uniquely positioned to deliver its innovative Power Sports Insurance Solutions™ program to the OFSC membership. The Federation, as the coordinating body for organized snowmobiling for all of Ontario, has member clubs located throughout the province. York sells its insurance products through a network of approximately 200 independent insurance brokers operating from more than 350 offices located throughout Ontario. This symmetry is ideal for the new program.
